Today, we will take overnight flight to Dubrovnik, arrive the next day.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check-in. We will have dinner at hotel. Dubrovnik is located on the Dalmatian coast. Its pleasant climate with old town charm becomes one of the best tour destinations in the world. The prosperity of Dubrovnik was historically based on maritime trade; they achieved high level of development, especially during 15th and 16th century. Many notable poets, scientists had chosen Dobrovnik as their residence.

After breakfast, city tour will follow: Dominican Monastery, which has Romanesque and Gothic style architecture. The magnificent courtyards with its columns cloisters and near-by Onofrio’s fountains. To Rector’s Palace & Franciscan Monastery. Continue to Sponza Palace and walk around ★City Walls for panoramic city view.

After breakfast, depart for Koto, a fortified town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. It was ruled by many foreigners, such as Byzantines, Serbians, Venetians, Russians, French and Austrians. After breakfast, to Kotor Bay, the deepest natural fjord-like bay in the Mediterranean Sea. We will visit St Tryphone’s Cathedral located in Old Town. First built in the 11th century, a Romanesque-Gothic architecture. The city’s old town and landmarks are listed with UNESCO World Heritage sites. Continue to Budva, a coastal resort town. Because of its beautiful beach and vibrant nightlife make Budva the most popular tourist resort town in Montenegro. Later, return to Dubrovnik.

This morning, depart for Stolac, a town located in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will visit ★Tvrdos Monastery, a 15th century Serbian Orthodox monastery near the city of Trebinje. Then continue to Mostar. It was heavily bombed during the civil war in 90’s. Mostar had been rebuilt; it is once again a lively and beautiful destination. Upon arrival, city tour will follow, we will walk around and visit Turkish mosque.

After breakfast, city tour will follow: ★Diocletian’s Palace, an ancient palace built by Roman emperor Diocletian as his retirement residence. The Palace was built of white local limestone and marble. This Palace is now a commercial and residential center. Continue to Cathedral of Saint Domnius, an octagonal shape structure has 24 columns surround the exterior.

After breakfast, depart for Trogir, a historic harbor located on a small island along the Adriatic coast. We will visit ★Cathedral of St. Lawrence, Town Hall & Bell Tower. Then to Kaka National Park, located in Sibenic-Knin county, it covers about 142 square km with magnificent waterfalls and wide variety of flora and Fauna. Continue to Sibenic, located in the middle part of Adriatic coast. We will visit ★Cathedral of St. Jacob (UNESCO World Heritage Site), built entirely by stones. The exterior wall was decorated with 71 sculptured faces of men, women and children; this is the most important architectural monuments of the Renaissance in Croatia. Later, depart for Zadar.

Zadar is a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches. After breakfast, city tour will follow: ★St. Donat Church–one of the best preserved pre-Romanesque church in the world. Then to the Sea Organ, it captures the movement of the waves and transforms to music. Continue our tour to ★Plitvice National Park, built in 1949. We will take boat ride to explore waterfalls and lakes. You can also walk along rustic boardwalk trail to enjoy crystal clear water in many colorful shades of green, grey and blue.

After breakfast, ★take boat ride to explore Lower Lakes in Plitvice National Park, enjoy clear blue lakes and idyllic forest. Later, travel north to Rastoke well known for its well-preserved mills and waterfalls along the Slunjcica river and flows into the river Korana. Continue to Opatija, a seaside resort town. Because of it ideal climate and location, Opatija is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Central Europe. City tour will follow: Villa Angiolina, Hotel Kvarner & Maiden with the Seagull.

This morning depart for Motovun for brief stop. Motovun is located in the northern part of Istria and a medieval hilltop town. Continue to Porec, located on the western coast of Istrian peninsula. We will visit ★Euphrasian Basilica, rebuilt in the 6th century under the Byzantine Empire, a UNESCO Heritage Site. Later to Piran, a coastal town perched at the tip of a narrow peninsula in Slovenia. Late afternoon, depart for Portoroz, a popular tourist destination.

After breakfast, depart for Postojna. We will visit the 2nd largest cave in Europe–★Postojnska Jama (27 km in length, 115m deep and 562 meters above sea level). Travel down to the cave by ★cave train, you will see spectacular stalagmites and stalactites (Temperature inside the cave remain 46-50F, please ware warm clothing and proper shoes). Later, to Lake Bled, about 6,960 ft long and 4,530 ft wide, with a maximum depth of 100 ft. The Lake is surrounded by mountains and forests. We will visit ★Bled Castle stands above the lake on the north shore.

After breakfast, depart for Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Upon arrival, we will take ★cable car to Ljubljana Castle for panorama city view. Then to Central Market, St. Nicholas’s Cathedral, Dragon Bridge & Town Hall. Later, we will depart for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

After breakfast, city tour will follow: Zagreb Cathedral (St. Stephen Cathedral), St. Mark’s Church, Town Gate, the Parliament, Lotrscak Tower (built in the 13th century, the cannon is fired at noon each day). To Ben Jelacic Square, there is the statue of Ban Jelacic who was the hero that defeated the Hungarians in 1848. The Opera House, Dolac Market.
