Today, we will take overnight flight to Rome, Italy, arrive the next day.

Rome is the city with numerous historical and architectural monuments. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: The Arch of Constantine, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Coliseum.

Rome is the city with numerous historical and architectural monuments. It is fascinating city for people who have great interest in Roman history. After breakfast, city tour will follow: visit the holly city Vatican, to ★Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, you will be amazed by great painting by Michelangelo. Then, to magnificent ★St. Peter’s Cathedral, designed by Michelangelo, Bramante, Maderno & Lorenzo Bernini. Inside the Cathedral, you can see St. Peter’s tomb, which is located directly below the altar. St. Peter’s sculpture is on the right side of the altar.

This morning, depart for ★Capri by fast boat, and then take smaller boat to ★Blue Grotto; you will experience unearthly blue of its refracted light gleaming on the white sand bottom. Later, to Naples.
** If weather not permitting, to Blue Grotto, we will change to Augustine Garden **

After breakfast, depart for the ancient city of ★Pompeii-famous for its ruins when Mt. Vesuvius erupted in A.D. 79. Explore many well-preserved fossils and ruins lay beneath volcanic ash for centuries and for better understanding of ancient Roman life. Later depart for Sorrento, a coastal town in southwestern Italy.

After breakfast, a short trip along the winding road to Amalfi coast. It is a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages, among them are Positano, Amalfi, Salerno etc.

After breakfast, depart for ★Civita di Bagnoregio. It is actually two remote towns, Civita is on a hill only accessible by a long walkway from neighboring Bagnoregio. Civita is a charming medieval town. Walk around through cobblestone, you will feel that you are in Middle Age. Continue to Pienza, a tiny village in southern Tuscany. This charming village offers wonderful natural landscapes. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: Town Hall, Piazza Pio II, the Duomo. In 1996, UNESCO declared Pienza, a World Heritage Site. Later, we will have dinner at wine-tasting place.

After breakfast, depart for Pisa, a city began to grow and became commercial center of Italy in 11th century. Leaning Tower is one of the most remarkable architectural structures in the world. However, Leaning Tower partially collapsed in 1989; they had announced that the Tower had been stabilized. Later, to Florence— the birth place of Renaissance arts. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della signoia, Loggia dei lanzi.

After breakfast, travel to Venice by train. Venice is located in Veneto region in northern part of Italy with group of 118 small islands linked by canals and bridges. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: Saint Marco Square, Bridge of Sighs etc.

After breakfast, depart for Milan. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: To Milan Cathedral–an elaborate Gothic cathedral with many openwork pinnacles, spires and beautiful statues. Later, walk through Galleria Emanuele and onto La Scala Opera House.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for homebound flight to US and ends unforgettable journey.
