DAY 1 USA/ Reykjavik, Iceland 6/14

Today, we will take overnight flight to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, arrive the next day.

DAY 2 Reykjavik 6/15

Reykjavik is located at latitude of 64°08′ N, the world’s northernmost capital and one of the greenest cities in the world. This morning, will fly to Reykjavik, upon arrival, city tour will follow: we will visit major landmarks: Hallgrimskirkja church. Continue to famous ★Blue Lagoon, and enjoy a relaxing and pleasant warm geothermal spa treatment! Blue lagoon is about 20 minute’s driver from airport, a man-made lagoon which is fed by water output of geothermal power plant Svartsengi. Heated water is vented from the group near a lava flow and used to run turbines that generate electricity. The hot water passes through a heat exchanger to provide heating system. Then the water is fed into the lagoon (please don’t forget to bring swim wares).

DAY 3 Reykjavik -52km-Selfoss 6/16

After breakfast, depart for ★Thingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament was founded in 903. Continue to magnificent ★Gullfoss, the golden waterfalls and ★Geysir, a hot spring area, you will see hot spring spouts to 30 meters high. We will overnight in Selfoss.

DAY 4 Selfoss -94km-Westman Island-80km-Vik 6/17

After breakfast, depart for Skogafoss. Continue to Westman Island. Eldfell volcano erupted in 1973, destroyed many buildings and forced the entire population evacuated to mainland Iceland. We will take you to see Puffin, this bird is the most plentiful species in this Island.

DAY 5 Vik 6/18

After breakfast, depart for ★Valnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier area. Continue to Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, a ★boat excursion on the lagoon amongst huge glacial blocks.

DAY 6 Vik -255km-Reykjavik 6/19

After breakfast, depart for Seljalandsfoss to visit the iconic waterfalls of Iceland, Then to ★Black Sand Beach, one of the highlights is the 120 meter high promontory of Dyrholaey with its spectacular rock arch, bird nestling cliffs. Continue to Reykjavik.

DAY 7 Reykjavik / London 6/20

This morning, travel to our next destination-London, upon arrival, we will take you to ★Windsor Castle, a medieval castle and royal residence in the English county of Berkshire. The original castle was built after the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror. In 1936 Edward VIII, adopting the title of Duke of Windsor, following his abdication, and he married Wallis Simpson, an American socialite. They remained married until his death 35 years later.

DAY 8 London 6/21

Today, start with full day tour: ★British Museum contains vast collections of Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, ▲Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s residence, ★Westminster Abbey, where England’s kings & queens have been crowned & buried since 1066. ★Tower of London is steeped in history, served as both a castle and a prison in the past; they also have priceless treasures including the British Crown Jewels. Continue to ▲House of Parliament ▲Big Ben, ▲ Trafalgar Square and ▲London Bridge.

DAY 9 London-134km-Stonehenge-62km-Bath-95km-Cardiff 6/22

This morning, we will travel to ★Stonehenge, a prehistoric & mysterious circle of upright stones. These stone are aligned almost perfectly with the sunrise and was built as a place of worship. Continue to Bath, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit ★ Roman Bath Museum. Tonight, we will spend the night in Cardiff.

DAY 10 Cardiff-170km-Fishguard-177km-Rosslare, Ireland-73km- Waterford 6/23

Cardiff is the capital of Wales and chief commercial center. We will tour the city: ▲Cardiff Bay area, ▲Millennium Stadium. After lunch, depart for Fishguard port to take ★ferry to Ireland (about 3.5 hours). Upon arrival in Rosslare, we will drive to Waterford and spend the night here.

DAY 11 Waterford -195km-Killarney National Park 6/24

Waterford city was founded by Viking traders in 914 with medieval flavor. After breakfast, city tour will follow: To ★Waterford Crystal Factory that has exquisite crystal, you will have opportunity to choose from many beautiful Waterford Crystal (If they are not opened, we will replace with other site). Continue to ▲Regnald’s Tower, a circular defense tower set in the historic Viking Triangle. Then we will drive to Killarney–named Ireland’s cleanest town in the country. ★Enjoy jaunting car ride, wondering through Lough Leane, Middle Lake and Upper Lake.

DAY 12 Killarney-111km-Limerick- 78km-Cliffs of Moher - 77km-Galway 6/25

Today, we will travel along southwestern coastline via Limerick take you to ★Cliffs of Moher that rises 200 meters above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag’s Head. We will visit ▲O’Brien’s Tower, built in 1835 by Cornelius O’Brien a descendant of Brian Boru, Kings of Thomond. After lunch, to Galway, the fourth largest city. It has experienced very rapid growth in recent years. Start from ▲Eyre Square and you will find many pubs, restaurants. Continue to ▲St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, the largest medieval parish church in Ireland and still used as a place of worship.

DAY 13 Galway-255km-Dublin 6/26

After breakfast, depart for Dublin, one of the literary capitals and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit ★Trinity College to view the Book of Kells, an illuminated Gospel book created by Celtic Monks centuries ago and ★Trinity College Library. Continue to ▲Phoenix Park, located west of the city center and north of River Liffey. One of the largest walled city park in Europe, occupying 707 hectares with grassland and tree-lined avenues. It has been home to wild fallow deer since century ago. Then to ★Guinness Storehouse, their beer is the most successful beer brands in the world.

DAY 14 Dublin-237km-Londonderry, UK-62km- Giant’s Causeway-112km-Belfast 6/27

This morning we will travel to Londonderry, an old walled city in Northern Ireland. Continue to ★Giant’s Causeway–An area of 40,000 perfectly symmetrical basalt columns, result of volcanic eruption. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. Later, travel through scenic coastline to Belfast.

DAY 15 Belfast-100km-Cairnryan-202km-Edinburgh 6/28

After breakfast, city tour will follow: ▲City Hall, ▲Titanic Belfast, you will relive the fateful voyage of the Titanic. Then travel to Scotland by ★ferry. Upon arrival in Cairnryan, we will transfer you to ▲Edinburgh (UNESCO World Heritage Site, 1995).

DAY 16 Edinburgh-250km-Lake District 6/29

Edinburgh is a city steeped in history and its stunning rich architectural heritage is now recognized as a World Heritage Site. This morning, we will visit ★Edinburgh Castle located at the top of the volcanic Castle Rock and dominates the skyline of the city. Later, we will drive to Lake District–a mountainous region.

DAY 17 Lake District-159km-York-253km- Stratford-Upon-Avon 6/30

After breakfast, a ★ boat excursion on the lake and enjoy beautiful scenery. Famous children’s book “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” was written & illustrated by Beatrix Potter. She discovered her love of nature & animals while spending holidays in Lake District. The beauty of Lake District inspired another English Romantic poet, William Wordsworth, who lived in Lake District as well. Later, depart for ▲York, an ancient walled city, founded by the Romans in 71 AD. York is full of ancient history, romantic ambiance, exquisite architecture and quaint cobblestone streets. We’ll visit ★York Minster, a Gothic cathedral with beautiful stained glass. Continue to walk around ▲city walls with amazing views. Later, depart for Stratford-upon-Avon.
