Day 1 USA / London

Today, we will take overnight flight to London-the capital of United Kingdom, arrive the next day.

DAY 2 London – London Eye

Upon arrival, we will take you to ★London Eye, a giant ferris wheel located on the south bank of the River Thames. It was built in the year of 2000 also known as the Millennium Wheel.  The structure is 135 meters tall. The ride offers spectacular view of London in all directions. Later, proceed to dinner, then to hotel.

DAY 3 London – Warner Bros Studio & London Zoo

Today’s itinerary is to Warner Bros Studio and London Zoo.   You can explore the magic of Harry Potter Films sets: The Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office. Step onto the cobbles of Diagon Alley, see iconic props, such as Harry’s Nimbus 2000 and Hagrid’s motorcycle. Continue to London Zoo, the world’s oldest scientific zoo, opened on Apr 27, 1828. It has one of the largest collections in UK.  The Reptile House is home to some of the biggest snakes on earth, as well as lizards and crocodiles. It is here that a python speaks to Harry for the first time.

DAY 4 London – 113km – Gloucester – 24km – Bourton on the Water

This morning, depart for ★Gloucester Cathedral, located in the north of the city near the River Severn. It is a medieval monastic cloister transformed into the corridors of Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the films of Harry Potter. Continue to Bourton on the Water, a village in south central England. It is known for its low bridges and traditional stone houses.

DAY 5 Bourton – on-the-Water –34km – Oxford – 103km – Nottingham

This morning, depart for Oxford, one of the oldest university towns. We will visit ★Christ Church College where 16 British prime ministers were educated here. Continue to the Bodleian Library, one of the world’s oldest libraries at the heart of Oxford’s historic University. The Library opened in 1602, a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture and the oldest teaching and examination hall in the University. Later, to Nottingham, located in central England’s Midlands region. It’s known for its role in the Robin Hood legend.

DAY 6 Nottingham – 86km – York – 77km – Durham – 19km – Newcastle

This morning, depart for York, an ancient walled city, founded by the Romans in 71 AD. York is full of ancient history, romantic ambiance, exquisite architecture and quaint cobblestone streets. We’ll visit ★York Minster, a Gothic cathedral with beautiful stained glass. Continue to Shambles, an old street in York. It was once known as the the Great Flesh Shambles. Later, depart for Durham, we will visit Durham Cathedral, built in 1093, it was a Norman building and constructed in the Romanesque style. Durham Cathedral is the oldest surviving building in Europe. Continue our tour to Newcastle.

DAY 7 Newcastle –35km – Alnwick – 87km – Edinburgh

After breakfast, depart for Alnwik, we will visit ★Alnwik Castle, the 2nd largest castle in England. Harry Potter filmed on location at Alnwick Castle in 2000. Continue to Edinburgh, a city steeped in history and its stunning rich architectural heritage is now recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Orientation tour will follow, The Elephant House Cafe is famous as the place of inspiration to writers such as J.K. Rowling, who sat writing of her early novels in he back room overlooking Edinburgh Castle.

DAY 8 Edinburgh – 71km – Pitlochry – 86km – Inverness

After breakfast, depart for Pitlochry in the heart of Scotland. A pleasant and peaceful place where you can relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings. The city design Fish Ladder to create a way for 5000 salmon each year to pass upstream. The ladder is 310 metres in length and has 34 pools. Continue to our next destination-Inverness.

DAY 9 Inverness – Glasgow

After breakfast, to Loch Ness, a largest, deepest freshwater in Scottish Highlands. It is also known as the home of the Loch Ness Monster. Then we will take ★Jacobite Steam Train, crossing the 21-arched Glenfinnan viaduct (a location made famous in the Harry Potter films) where you will enjoy magnificent scenic views. Later, to our next destination-Glasgow.

DAY 10 Glasgow / USA

Today, transfer to airport for homebound flight to US and ends this unforgettable journey.
